RE: RE: RE: Any thoughts about

Prob, you are correct. They might win because they are winning the chess match in shareholder opinion. The only reason that  WND lost their application was because they brought it at the 11th hour. The OSC counsel essentially  said they were mixed but thought it not fair to bring this to a halt two business days before the offer expired. However, it backfired in public opinion and they are still taking the egg of their face.  I think WND would win the next time if a further offer was extended.  But make no mistake, the valuation issue is a sideshow.  I have no problem with BEP.   Good for them if they get their 50%.shareholder.Their duty is to their shareholders and if they can get a steal, then they should go right ahead. .  But if a new  bidder bid $2.75, for example, they may not get 90% because of Brookfield's 16% and they do not want to get WND without 90%.  That is why price is not the issue right now.  I expect the tender to be close but not reach 50%, but it will be close I think. Brookfield is playing a ame of chicken as well. They don't want 16% of a company  either. They only started buying as part of their  strategy to get control. I  have made my views known to WND that they are losing the PR battle.  I am satsfied that  another bid will eventually come.  Brookfield did not want to take part in the auction process because they knew time was not on their side.  Now, we have the option agreement and Yabucoa will close in mid March.   In my opinion, the worst case scenario if the auction process continues, we will get a $3.00 offer but likley more.
