My plans as a shareholder

My plans as a shareholder

If Brookfield gets 50% or more of independent shares tendered, I believe there is a 10 day extension to the bid, and I will then tender my shares and move on. At that point I will have to admit that BEP has won.

If Brookfield is unsuccessful and the current bid expires but they up their bid closer to $3 I will consider tendering.

If Brookfield is unsuccessful and the bid expires and they do not make another offer but decide to hold their shares I suspect we will fall close to Brookfield's $2.25 purchase price (from Goodman) and will trade in a range there until Yab closes.

If Brookfield is unsuccessful and the bid expires amd they do not make another offer and decide to liquidate their position I suspect we will see close to $2, or possibly lower, and I will be ADDING to my position. Has no one considered that Brookfield walking and the share price tanking in the short term could be a golden opportunity to add shares?

Both AQN & BEP bids of $2.50, that analysts like Tom Konrad consider lowball. That sets a basement for what the PREDATORS think this company is worth to try to get it on the cheap, which implies it might be worth more but is not worth less. If BEP walks away and the share price tanks short term that floor value has still been set, and other bidders, who are we are told scared by BEP's balance of power position will probably finally step up with bids that are AT LEAST equal to or likely higher than $2.60. We are currently trading at a discount to that, and might even fall farther. For those who have no intention of selling (and for those trying to drive the share price lower in the short term) a buying oportunity that didn't exist at $2.80 will present itself.

Jeff has indicated, both publicly and in email conversation that the company is going to be sold, and that he expects it to happen within the next 3-4 months. He has also told many people here, including me, that Yabucoa WILL close, and most likely (I know, we've heard that before) by mid March. I believe him, and am staying loyal and I will pick up shares on any further weakness once I know what BEP plans to do.

Feeling extra good because the Leafs beat the Canadians senseless last night...
