In all of the conversations that took place during the Toronto Presentation and the meeting afterwards there was not one mention of energy savings. It was all about how cheap they could replace existing devices for. There was no mention about the higher reliability associated with removing all of the connections between modules of separate chips. All the time I listened I WAS wondered why these big selling points were never brought up by anyone. Not once. It finally occurs to me after reading your response that it very secondary to the dramatically reduced cost of production and the substantial increase of performance. The reliability the reduced footprint the energy efficiency are all great but people will want POET because the performance is a step change and the economics are extreme.
