RE: RE: CLINE @ .50 CENTS PER SHARE Beg to differ. Though North America coal production costs are the highest in the world, productivity is also the highest in the world. Coal production is gradually changing from labor intensive to capital intensive something the 3rd world countries do not have. And if volume of coal picks up costs will be going down, both production costs and transportation cost with the panamax ships starting next year allowing up to 170,000 DWT ships to sail through. Already China may allow the Valemax super cargos carrying up to 500,000 tonnes to drop anchor in its ports and thus make iron ore and coal carrying costs competetive with Australia. And let us not forget met coal is a rare commodity and only makes up 10% on the total coal production of the world. The restoration of rail line will definitely lower costs as well. CMK simply needs more capital infusion to upgrade the resource. And frankly, I tend to trust all the experts who have a positive opinion about the resource and not the Cassandras who see disaster at every twist and turn. May be these thoughts are mere rationalization to soothe the mind, but this mine has been around for so long and has helped build a lot of miles of the US infrastructure for so long.
