Interesting Article in Time Magazine- Blood for Oi

Interesting Article in Time Magazine- Blood for Oi

https://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,2135704,00.html

The article refers to Kurdistan area of irag- it is restriced and dangerous... is Sonoro really up there finding potential sites? That doesn't make sense...   I thought they were well south of that troubled region destined for civil war, out of harms way for the most part. Sonoro is in Salah al Din province only, no? What was that other article saying about sonoro in Kurdistan, is that an error? I'm confused. Good article, regardless. it got me to thinking that it's a good thing Sonoro is not situated in that area... Just came out in today's Time mag release. So what's the real deal?
