RE: My 2 cents worth this post kinda sums it up at the moment. We had offers, and a BoD with little in the game, felt it the privilige to reject this offer without even consulting shareholders, let alone inform shareholders...I still dont know how many suitors, what potential offers......I think even management was working towards a deal and was surpised by the events...regardless the sp took the hit and small investors and funds were told 8 months ago to wait for value, well 8 months is a longtime in the market, people can say all they want about being patient, and I agree, but Athena was supposed to be the key to unlock value and it has not, so ofcourse you have funds trying to get a flip out of this stock, heck sitting at $2, this could be sold a 2.50 or less!!! Even a low ball bid of $3 would get enough shareholders approval, this is just a fact....you said you would grap it, heck of course you would, thats the name of the game, make money now, and go somewhere else and make more money.....what fund manager would not take a 50% offer over the current stock value.....SOLD! Question is why havent we had a hostile bid, this I can not answer, certainly not our balance sheet. I think we are still too far from Stella, and interested parties want drilling and hook-up completed before making a move. I am not necessarily pro these recent events, but I sure as heck understand them, and the more I have read the more I must recognize the serious nature of recent events, JEC isnt just experimenting, they have a formula, they have done this before, and it could get messy!
