RE: Last week Ah Yes, The Sleep Factor I failed to mention. "No Worries here Mon" (in my best Jamaican accent)
As a long, LONG investor in BTE I've bought BTE as low as $10.06 and as high as $57.65. All along the way collecting dividends on a monthly basis for "renting out" my money and seeing increased share value along the majority of this nice trip over the decade.
Your advisers fail to mention BTE hedges a significant part of their production. AND as oil approaches that $100.00usd (small type intended) per bbl. mark the lower grades increase in value too. A HOLD recommendation just means THEY AINT SELLING or at least that's what they're telling their clients ( Churning Portfolios is where those advisors and their companies make their money)
No Woulda's, Coulda's or Shoulda's to sweat. Just collect "gun powder" every month and take down additional shares when I feel like pulling the trigger.
Now my shares are doing more work without asking. The dividends I receive have the same affect as a Hedge against the price at the pump I pay. Over the long haul my ever increasing position in BTE will eventually pay my monthly gasoline consumption.
Free Gasoline imagine that. Makes planning for that Ford F250 Special Ops pick-up look more enticing next year. (*_^)
