Smoke and Mirrors

Smoke and Mirrors

Today's run up in the stock is not based on any improvement in the fundamentals. The news reease tells me that things have not gone well at Thurso thus the management change. Missing from the news release was any further updates on Thurso's operating utilization. I would take the RJ analysts upgrade with a grain of salt as he never saw the downside in the stocks. The TD analyst was the only one who correctly called the downturn in the stock. I don't expect today's run up in the stock price to be long lasting unless it is accompanied by improved operating results at Thurso.
