RE: DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR?
RE: DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR? Banx makes some sound observations. Markets are always cyclical, and this is not the first time in history that junior mining stocks have received a good bashing from the market as a whole.
Trading the markets in the short term is tricky at best, and some people are fairly good at it, while most people lose money over time. We have posting members who are are both long term and short term players. It has been my observation that the longer term players are more familiar with the fundamentals of the company and may know members of the management team, while the sort term players are looking for news announcements to propel the stock $.10 to $.30 cents higher.
As a longer term player who has taken the time to research the fundamentals and to know the company itself, I have no real problems with what the management team has accomplished to date to build shareholder value. Yes, I am underwater on my positions and like some have recommended, I have used stink bids to accumulate a few more shares from time to time because I see the underlying shareholder value there. I think if this were a privately held company rather than a public one and we were waiting to take it public in the next couple of years, we would be pleased with what has been accomplished to date. It is sort of like a real estate development project for condominiums, where the builder has it up to the first three or four stories and there are a number of buyers who are waiting for a certificate of completion before they can buy the completed units
