selling pressure

selling pressure

I suspect some of the dividend funds who probably bought ahead of the dividend model being implemented may still have some stock hanging around. Dividend funds these days represent a large pool of assets and positions could be quite large. Also a tremendous amount of stock traded at prices above $2.00 in the past and some tail end positions could account for this reaction. The decline rate is higher than expected and maybe this is part of the problem and negativism but remember with all this selling there are new buyers with the same objectives as us at these prices. For every seller we have a buyer. At some point the selling will diminish.

cheers
