Speaking of everyone's favourite vaccine plant, there would be no need to wait for GMP validation in June to start ramping up production for some form of federal/provincial subsidy that may come in the next 60 days...as I understand it at least.

 

I could be wrong, but the VMC is certified or validated to produce for the North American market now. There just isn't any interest in paying for it. We may have to wait for June or later for GMP validation but what would be stopping this fully staffed plant from cranking out Econiche to supply a subsidized program in Canada? Does "not a question of if but when" have an expiry date?

 

If there is no subsidy or funding of some sort in place by March/April things are probably going to get dicey, well dicier than they are now, which is hard to fathom. Visions of e coli free petting zoos in the UK and happy Japanese burger eaters aren't doing much to halt this latest SP collapse. If the Canadian government has no interest in funding Econiche, the two or three people left who believe in a future for Econiche will wilt away.
