Not sure about DCF (maybe discounted cash flow?)....isn't a Tier 1 asset simply an asset that is acceptable for use by world banks as collateral for their deposits? Under the new Basel III they were talking about making gold a Tier 1 asset, I believe.....this would result in banks being able to offset loans/etc with gold as well as cash.....I believe......although not sure.....just trying to help. Nice to see DM moving up for a change...esp on a day where all the other commodities are being pounded...esp poor old gold.
