I think you are on the right track jjeerryy, especially with the exec. pay. The dividend would have to be more substantial to sway votes though, as we already receive $0.035 every month. Personally I feel it would be unwise to shell out anymore capital from an already cash strapped company. As much as it pains me to say, I think the dividend should be suspended unil the debt is brought down to a more reasonable level. It was likely only initiated in the first place to try and sway us to vote yes. We would only be hurting ourselves. If the merger doesn't go through, which at this point appears to be a strong possibility, I will have to agree with Joe and say I think we can kiss the dividend goodbye altogether, since we no longer have Elbow River. The course of action should then be to find a management that has a burning desire for success, and can restore shareholder value, and pay a dividend when it is actually sustainable. This will likely take considerably time though.
