Conversion from MAUXF to MMT

Conversion from MAUXF to MMT

I just found out that Interactive Brokers will allow me to convert my shares in MAUXF to MMT.  I live in the States.  Have any other US citizens done this?  Any downsides in doing this?  Thanks!
