Sorry SEP, you are misguided.....

Buffet doesn't prefer tungsten over gold, and no it is not obvious that Buffet thinks tungsten is a better investment than gold. Gold is a non-productive asset (according to Charlie Munger, VP of Berkshire) which is against Berkshire's business model. Buffet chose WOF because his primary focus is on cash flows and profit margins (i.e. Return on Investment) from IMC and IMC needs tungsten as part of their profitability. If Buffet cared about tungsten, then it would be Berkshire purchasing major tungsten mines throughout the world, which would include WOF. But that is not the case as the deal is between one of Buffet's subsidiary companies and WOF. You are drawing conclusions on non-existent facts.

So keep up the good work on digging up articles, but let the facts speak for themselves.
