Samaranta - recent history

Samaranta - recent history

I took a leap on this stock with the prospect of making a quick buck and should have done my due diligence before, but hey, that's life and how we learn.  I'm now just starting to see how much management volatility Samaranta has seen in the past 6 months.

Aug. 9, 2012 - Samaranta Acquires Rights to Re-Process Segovia Gold Mine Tailings
Aug. 9, 2012 - Hable steps down as Pres/Ceo and is appointed as EVP
Aug 30, 2012 - Samaranta Provides Segovia Gold Mine Tailings Update; "the Company strongly encouraged by its initial findings"
Sep 10, 2012 - Samaranta Adopts Shareholder Rights Plan
Oct 15, 2012 - Samaranta Announces Results of AGM; Gunther Roehlig, Volkmar Hable, Robert McMorran and James Walchuk elected to board.
Nov. 7, 2012 - Hans J Rasmussen appointed to Samaranta Mining Corporation Board of Directors, Gunther Roehlig steps down as director
Dec. 6, 2012 - Samaranta Mining Announces Changes to Board of Directors, three directors resign, Dan Fish appointed as the interim CEO and Director, and Mr. Nav Dhaliwal as an independent Director of the Company.
Dec 19, 2012 - Samaranta Mining Provides Exploration Update, Plans for 2013, Rasmussen appointed Chairman of Board
Feb 12, 2013 - Mr. Hable resigns
Feb 22, 2013 - Mr. Hable fired as EVP of Samaranta

That's a lot of board activity in a few months time.  Looks like the current crop of Colombia directors successfully performed a coup de grace after the tailings announcement.  It remains to be seen whether the Colombia directors or Mr. Hable will provide most value to the remaining Samaranta shareholders.
