Letter to IRROC Letter to Irroc:
Hello Sir or Madam,
By now, you should have been made aware of the flash crash that occurred on Orbite Aluminae on Jan. 14. It was an odd event and I am not pleased at all that it took place. I am not alone. I am an angry investor.
Now, I hope that before you reframe this little event as an accident (or let someone reframe it as such) and give a little slap on the hand of the "guilty" party, invented or real, let me explain to you that I will do everything in my power for the rest of my life to get restitution or smear anyone and everyone, destroy their safe work (legally, of course, because I cannot work illegally like some people we know, with or without the acquiescence of the authority). Now, I am prejudging you and the event, I know. But, I was not born yesterday. I am giving you an out, in case you were thinking that I will forget, that Orbite's investors will forget. I won't! We won't! Heads will fall (metaphorically, of course)! Let me assure that if you don't think of an effective way to compensate shareholders for this event, we will find a way to alert people and the media about the slightest hint of a cover-up or a slap on the wrist at the expense (pun intended) of small shareholders. We know we are not in the loop and it is quite possible that the rules are not made for us (the uptick rule change was a disgusting move, which should have never happened). The unusual reaction of the authorities are indicative of a more somber and disturbing problem. Here is your chance to redeem yourself. will not let this one go by without a fight. We will not lay down and take it. I hope for your sake that you think long and hard before you provide shareholders with not only a lame explanation. I and we expect something a bit more substantial and meaningful, along the lines of compensations by the guilty party. If I were to make a mistake of this kind (assuming this was a mistake, a bit assumption, I know), I would be paying; somebody would be. Somebody better be. A flash crash is not something that is supposed to happen! And, other unusual events that took place before this lead me and us to believe that there is something more disturbing and criminal at work here. Again, I know words cannot do much, but actions will follow, as stated in this message. If you see this is as a threat, it is. If you have nothing to hide, you should interpret it as a warning or as an advice, take your pick.
Regards,
A really angry investor
