In addition, Home Trust and its wholly owned subsidiary, Home Bank offer deposits through brokers and financial planners, and through a direct-to-consumer brand, Oaken Financial. My take: correction yes, crash no. A correction has already started and could go on for 10 years. HCG does not need a rising housing market to continue to grow.

It wasn't just high prices that crashed the US market. It was liar's loans, appraisal fraud, ratings fraud, teaser rates, securitization of sub prime, etc. None of those things are happening in the Canadian market.
