Final End to illegal term of Barrios

Final End to illegal term of Barrios

Memorial presented to new election to end illegal exercise of Christopher Barrios leader.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013 14:40 Editor The Cajacho Hits: 13.

Cesar Huaman Lucero, president Cañaris Defense Coalition, said today that the judge presented a memorial signed by most people for the purpose of convening a new election to end the illegal exercise of Christopher Barrios Carrillo, who had leaving the office of president of the community in December last year, and thus its position against Cañariaco.

"It is a mechanism to call a new election and replace Christopher Barrios by a memorial signed by most of the population and present it to the judge for a new president of the community," he said in a telephone interview with RPP Noticias.

He explained that under the law community, Christopher Barrios, must call new elections in October last year, but did not with the intention of extending his term.

"In December 2012 meeting convened to form the electoral committee was formed this finger and that's what we question. Because they are the ones who are encouraging conflict and strikes ... do not want any dialogue, intimidate and intimidate citizens who do not want to adhere to their ideology driving them forcibly strikes, "said Lucero.

Humanan Lucero said to have representation of over 300 people. "We have just signed an agreement between the three leaders of the upper and middle, where they are supporting my organization, including coffee group that focuses on investment," he said.

At another point in the interview, said that those who encourage conflict and strikes in Cañaris alarmed people arguing that the project is polluting the environment with false arguments.

"It is a time of exploration and exploitation, as they say to alarm people. Study is a stage and people should know that," the official stressed, adding that "people should be aware that this project will bring benefits through sustainable projects for the community and will be a lever for development both for mining, agriculture and livestock, "he said.

Finally, he urged the company to make more widespread mining project so that this is fully known to alleviate the fear that anti-mining groups are creating.
