RE: RE: RE: Swimming with sharks

Sandstorm I think expected some backlash on this deal but not, I have confirmed this quickly.

We are way to early in this asset to predict an outcome and wonder about posturing of the Gov't this soon in the game. This (recent news release)action speaks to me in the immense value of the project as well as the polictical support that could be garnered from talking tough against the "corporations" ~ equals votes.

I agree with Zen this quick of announcement regarding permitting does appear "fishy" so I dug up dates for the Mongolian Presidential Election and turns out its (May 2013) not that far away. Hmmmm

I may be guilty of being to optimistic but I still am liking the 4-6% risk/reward that we have taken on this project and believe its possible by end of Q2/3 with the election behind us that the tune will have changed as Mongolia needs this resource extracted as much as Rio Tinto does. Especially if this project is truly 35% of their Gross Domestic Product. JMHO but i am certain that there are many many more factors to be considered here as there always are when there is this much money at stake.

Last thought here ...wasn't one of our Directors Claudia Tornquist a previous VP for Rio Tinto. This makes me think we have done intensive and thorough D&D on this one?
