Institutional sponsorship, not individual investors drive the share price. What I say or do is inconsequential to the share price.
Institutions are bailing out of Sandstorm. Just look at the price and volume. Those numbers don't lie.
Nolan has done great damage to his previously golden brand in the PM space.
Many institutional money managers will not view a future potential investment in SSL in the same light they viewed SSL prior to Mongolia/Entree. They like to keep their jobs.
This means a long healing process for owners of SSL. NW is going to have to re-prove himself all over again to regain the trust of institutional portfolio managers.
I am sure this is a one-off deal. That is irrelevent. Nolan has transformed SSL into a highly speculative play on the gold market. Last time I looked there were lots of those types of lottery ticket opportunities.
Sandstorm was supposed to be different. By building a high quality, low risk, gold streaming company Sandstorm was rewarded with very generous valuation ratios.
