Ore Grade Comparative Wellgreen's ore grades are very good compared with two of the largest mining districts in the world, Norilsk-Talnakh and Sudbury.
Wellgreen PEA last summer reported a resource estimation at a 0.2% nickel equivalent (NiEq) cut-off resulted in an Indicated Resource of 14.4 Mt at grades of 0.68% nickel, 0.62% copper, and 2.23 g/t platinum+palladium+gold.
The Norilsk-Talnakh deposits contain nickel, copper and excellent grades of platinum group metals, making them one of the planet's outstanding metal concentrations proven and probable containing 5.98 to 7.12 g/t six platinum group metals and 1.33 % nickel and 2.26% copper compared with Sudbury's 1 g/t PGMs average. Sudbury copper and nickel grades average 1% each with occurances up to 5%.
One significant thing to note is that the Norilsk and Sudbury deposits are mostly expensive underground operations while Wellgreen is proposed to be a less expensive open pit operation. Norilsk is located north of the artic circle in very severe weather conditions.
