HNUs investment objective, is to seek daily investment results, before fees, expenses, distributions, brokerage commissions and other transaction costs, that endeavour to correspond to up to two times 200 Percentage the daily performance of the Horizons Natural Gas Rolling Futures Index the Underlying Index, Bloomberg ticker CMDYNGER. HNU is denominated in Canadian dollars. Any US dollar gains or losses as a result of HNUs investment are hedged back to the Canadian dollar to the best of its ability. The Fund To be successful in meeting its investment objective during the period, HNUs net asset value should have gained up to two times as much on a given day, on a percentage basis, as its Underlying Index rose on that given day. Conversely, HNUs net asset value should have lost up to two times as much on a given day, on a percentage basis, as its Underlying Index declined on that given day.

Long trader only? I'm in HND; a bearish ETF. And I'm eying up HVU when the right entry opens up.

 

The biggest thing to remember with Nat Gas, is it's traded at the CME. Therefore a majority of the traders are out of Chicago, meaning that their bias is to speculate based on Chicago weather. Weather around the country obviously affects the supply data, but as far as forecast speculation, the market's bias is always going to be in regards to Chicago weather, with New York second. 

 

Half of these city slickers think they're the most important thing to grace the earth since dinosaurs and have no idea that a world exists out of their home city. It's the predictability of their own arrogance that leaves opportunity for us who can see it.

 

HND is the trade. Good luck if you try HNU, but all positives are priced into this market. It needs below average temps and storms just to sustain these levels. Anything less and down it goes.
