RE: RE: RE: RE: Patrick Tarquin2, OK, forget about ZEN just for a second. Do you think the companies that make synthetic graphite where their costs are 8k to 10k are worried about a cheaper way to manufacture what they already are doing. Do you not think these companies have not been searching for ways to cut down on expenses and increase their profits? I am sure they have worked and continue to work on this. However, to come up with almost pure graphite is difficult. Getting rid of impurities takes up to 3000 degrees of temperature.
We have pure stuff right out of the ground, no cooking involved. Even if anyone finds a cheap way to make synthetic graphite compared to current prices of $8000 to $10 000, I doubt they could get their prices lower than our $1000. I am not really concerned here. What you are trying to do is akin to someone saying they will be able to manufacture gold so gold mines will all close so do not bother investing in gold.
We have something really special here with lots of value on a per ton basis. We seem to have millions of tonnes of it. I will ride this one out like I have since 40 cents and see where this monster goes!
