The National Water Authority (ANA) confirmed that there is no danger of water discharges in Cañariaco mining project, because it is in an exploratory phase, thus ruling out the possibility of contamination in rivers and tributaries of the area .
It was during a presentation given at the second meeting of the Technical Development Cañaris districts, and Incahuasi rooms, located in the province of Ferreñafe, in Lambayeque, in which representatives of various ministries, local authorities, society civil and private enterprise.
At the meeting, held in the town of Huacapampa, in the district of Canaris, Walter Oyarce, official Knowledge Management Directorate of the ANA, made the clarification after explaining the supply, demand and water reserves Motupe basins , Olmos, milk and Huancabamba.
