Cash flow & insder buying, but also debt Will be getting increasing payments from its joint venture partner. $25,000 2013, $50,000 2014 and total of $900,000 by 2017. Has cash of $60,000 Sept 2012, about same amount as 2011. Is mining and selling chalky geyserite (alumina silica) from its mine on Vancouver Island, Canada and sends it by barge to Ashgrove Cement company. Cement contains 20% alumina silica. For the three months ending Sept 2011 it made a profit, after expenses, of $278,000, for Sept 2012, after expenses the company only made a profit of $4,000 due to decreased sales because of the slow down of housing in the area. However, this may improve for several reasons. The housing market is picking up and the company is in discussions with two other cement companies. If orders pick up, the company will be able to fill them because a new docking port is being built on the west side of the island and this will also decrease shipping costs. The company may not have enough cash flow at this time to meet debt obligations for all of 2013 and will consider the options available.
Has several interesting properties. Has the Lang Bay kaolin property, the only known kaolin deposit in BC Canada. Kaolin is used in high value paper production, making it a brilliant white color. At this time the paper producing companies in the area have to import their kaolin from the USA. Obtaining it from a nearby source would decrease their costs. Tests on the kaolin property show that it also contains the rare earths gallium and germanium. Company also has a coal property which it hasn't developed, but there are industries in the area that use coal, and since the companies coal source would be closer to them, it would be cost effective to ship it to the nearby areas and so the company might develop it's coal property.
Also has several gold properties, the latest, the project within 4 miles of TomaGold and with the same geology. TomaGold had previously tested it's property with drilling up to 125 meters, but not deeper. They hit a bonaza area of a half pound of gold per ton over a 5 meter width at a depth of 70 meters. There were indications that there might be gold in deeper layers and so they are doing 9 deep drills. The first three uncovered gold of 33 grams per ton, 11g and 42 g/ton over widths of 4 to 7 meters. 1g/ton is considered good, 10g or better is considered great and all three drills found over 10g/ton at a depth of 200 meters, which is still considered to be near surface.
There has also been steady insider buying by Electra's president/CEO, Schearer and also by director Savelieff.
