this is the same as 2012 and 2011 before that.  

Melafind and Aura are two totally different devices. In my opinion the Aura is superior however saying this, Melafind is a very very complicated device -greatly reliant on software and calibration failsafe's. To me this is why mela decided not to sell the device but instead to place it under a licensing agmt in derms offices - this retains their control over it's complicated operation and upkeep especially considering likely future updates. 

Thankfully two totally different devices and two totally different busines plans. 

just my thoughts nothing more.
