APIC Corporation vs. Intel vs Opel... I've been trying to see how Opel fits in this vastly evolving field of photonics microprocessing, and it's amazing how many things are happening in both Optical and Optoelectric Photonics.
Seems Intel has been and continues to research and develop their Fully Integrated Optical Microprocessor and another company that has been funded by the US Government, APIC Corporation has already developed a Fully Integrated Optoelectronic Chip without the use of copper, instead using fiber optics.
I'm wondering if there's anyone with a greater understanding of high tech, that would care to comment on how these technologies compare to POET and how POET may fit somehow with these other technologies being developed by Intel and APIC persay? tia
