FWIW I am long both this stock and Arcan and I increased my position this week.  But I am too small to matter to the price of course.

I think the board is quiet because there has been no news worth discussing since November.  It was disheartening to see production drop while debt increased on the last quarterly report.  Clearly that is not a sustainable situation, but I think a lot of it had to do with wells needing to be tied in and infrastructure spending that will only pay off in the long term. 

The only thing I am really watching day to day is canadian light crude prices which dropped last week but jumped a bit yesterday according to Suncor's numbers. 

I don't think SCS is drilling much if at all, so the next few quarterly reports should give some good data on the decline rates of their wells once the flush production has stopped.  Should also give insight into how much they are spending on G&A in the absence of any meaningful activity to justify said G&A.
