Pe calculations tax and debt

Pe calculations tax and debt

Heya all, I found a report on Coastal that show's their debt levels growing:-

well at least I think 70, (267), (440) means debt is growing. I could be wrong and it might mean that () round debt means cash.

I did some analysis of the stock and the only thing I don't like is the high taxation, seems to be 10% royalty, then deduct any capex then 25% pet tax on that, then 50% income tax on what's left. Capex is a good way of using profits to build the assets so the value of the company is increasing but still it's a heafty tax bill.

Note: I've never invested in an oil stock before, so I could be totally wrong about this!
