RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Who Cares about Pr Great posts tradergrader. I fail to see why the other posters only see the potential but fail to realize that POET is not, or should not be under the radar of any big company.
I mean, Opel is a publicly listed company isn't it? Now if it was private and testing was going on behind closed doors with no public announcements of milestones, then yes, I would have to agree that there is the potential of an IBM or Intel or other blue chip in failing to recognize POET, but this is simply not the case.
So, believing that POET is known out there to those that would ultimately have an interest, why hasn't this interest been shown more openly, by at least one?
Is it because they realize POET is still in the early stages? Is it because they don't see the need for a POET as they are also developing their own similar technology? Are they maybe waiting for further results, or are they awaiting an auction for the technology?
Doubt very much they're awaiting a POET auction. It simply doesn't work that way, unless they are vying for 100% ownership. I doubt it would come down to money, as the blue chips have the $$billions yet they haven't budged, at least not yet.
The talk about an auction is bogus IMO. In reality it just doesn't work that way. Glad to see that some here are well grounded. I've never said there is no place for a technology like POET, but the way some here are spinning things, is just unrealistic. atb
