Blame AXI management for the confusion. They talk a lot about a partnership for which there isn't a signed JV deal, but reveal very little about their actual joint venture partner, Roche Bay plc.

AXI's responsibilities under the existing joint venture agreement are serious. $1 million advance royalty payments to Roche Bay plc begin this December.
