RE: RE: Hearing Could be The Best Thing

RE: RE: Hearing Could be The Best Thing

after reading that NR again, my take on this is not so simple

this transaction, which was expected to close last month, requires approval by the TSX, the court for spinout transaction and shareholders

the acquisition of Shark is conditional on Tanzanian assets and $26M in cash being spun out into EAF, which is expected to be managed by certain executives of CAN

as you all know, four of CAN's directors have been placed in the penalty box by the BCSC. as per David Baines' article last weekend, an 11 day hearing took place in Jan,  closing arguments were delivered last week and a decision will be issued within the 90-day target for such proceedings

does anyone know if any of these four intend on being involved in EAF? if so, would this not complicate matters if they were to be suspended or subject to some other disciplinary action in the coming weeks?
