LeRiche, I am first and foremost a value investor, but unfortunately ARW does not meet that criteria.
Intrinsic value is that value which is known and for which an immediate sale of assets could recover an amount in excess of what was disbursed by an investor to acquire that asset. In the case of ARW a lot of the value is a subjective opinion on what a certain rate of production could command if the only factor on which such a purchase could depend are flow rates. That may in fact be the case but until there is hard evidenced to support that proposition ARW will remain a speculative play and as such requires a cautious approach particularly since the immediately recoverable hard assets are likely to be less that current market valuation.  That is not to say that ARW is a bad investment, in fact their have been certain promising developments which may make it a desirable investment, but until book value discounted by intangible assets exceeds market capitalization it will not be a "value investement"
