My Observations

My Observations

I have read many readers' comments on US sites tonight re: the Galaxy 4. The general feel I get is that Samsung owners are telling Sam that they could have done better and they were pulling an "Apple". They say the Gal 4 is the same as the Gal 3 which they bought less than a year ago....under a 2 yr contract with no upgrades until 18 months. They are saying the extra bells and whistles will sit idle.

The trouble for BB in the US is that many of these folks said they would upgrade to Sony, or Iphone, or HTC or the Gal 4......rarely, if ever, was BB mentioned. The BB name is not part of the US's vocabulary from what I could see from the comments.

As far as the presentation goes, at least Heins had a working model on stage....Samsung only showed pics of what "should" happen with each function. No real life examples/prototypes present....makes me wonder if they don't work as well in real life as displayed on the screen.
