Indeed Creamed, a good article, and just another over-board, knee jerk reaction by the BCSC. As one of the letter writers stated best, the BCSC bends over backwards to protect the investors, from themselves. See the SLI board. There is a perfect case of people who had no right investing in the Venture, and now that they are burned, they are crying to the BCSC and any other powers that be. Bottom line is there can never be enough regulations, rules and laws to protect stupid people from themselves.
