RE: The Reasons For The DROP

RE: The Reasons For The DROP

Thank you for your insightful reply puntabeach, which explains momentum, negative or positive.  One institutional buyer(investor) holds over 50% of SCS, another has bailed to use tax loss selling.  I have never been one to look at tax loss selling as a positive if you know what I mean.   SCS could very well be in good financial shape, and a unique victim of structural share holding.  You have to admit though, this stock stands out as one that is really getting crushed.  I look at comparative companies, and see SCS is worse off, but also know it was run up prior to its failure to be bought out.  In all fairness, small cap miners and O&G are all getting hit hard.  The question is, can SCS ride this out?  We see no financials, which based on the past should be out by now.  They have been regular as clockwork, but nothing right now.  The Nov financials did very little to impress those same investors who purchased and sold other small O&G.    I can only say, that if the numbers are good excellent, lets see them.  I think that there are more than a few macro factors hurting any small cap company right now, and raising money is not as easy.  Some mid and large cap companies are redeploying investments, freezing aquisitions and selling assets in order to remain solvent.  A small producer needs to make its finacial health public more now than ever.
