RE: RE: RE: Glorious and Free... Mr Fast,
I don't want to start an argument with you about corporate social responsabilities or savage capitalism. The people reading these posts are looking for insightful infos about LOT, not provincial politics... And I won't try to discredit you by making fallacious allusions, like you did.
But I'll just add one last thing:
LOT is not paying taxes and never did. Actually, they are accumulating tax credits by investing in exploration. Here's a quote from their last financials:
Tax expense recognized in profit or loss comprises the sum of deferred
tax and current tax not recognized in other comprehensive income or
directly in equity.
Current income tax assets and/or liabilities comprise those obligations to,
or claims from, fiscal authorities relating to the current or prior reporting
periods, that are unpaid at the reporting date. Current tax is payable on
taxable profit, which differs from profit or loss in the consolidated financial
statements. Calculation of current tax is based on tax rates and tax laws
that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the
reporting period.
However, since Tomagold is in exploration phase and has no taxable
income, tax expense recognized in profit or loss is currently comprised
only of deferred tax
Just to let you know that I own some LOT shares and I also want the company to succeed.
No hard feelings..
Toto
