I find it hard to get excited over the fact that they won't pay income taxes simply due to the fact that they are writing down the value of one of their assets by $60 million.  It doesn't affect the cash or cash flow but what's the book value of Samira now?

You can quit your job and you won't pay taxes either. Not sure I could pass that one off as a positive to my better half.

All their properties are paid for so the cash flow is the key. This property is probably worth more to someone else than Semafo. If that's the case then maybe they could sell it in spite of having positive cash flow.
