RE: RE: RE: RE: OVERSUBSCRIBED PP ! $$$$$$$ MARCH Hmmm of course, there must be something wrong with me to think that the Yukon Rush is over and that the "play" or "mania" has matured. Time and again throughout the history of the stock market there have been area plays such as what the Yukon has just gone through. Some plays were small and lasted a year or so, larger plays last a bit longer. Even the great Klondike Rush of 1896-1898 died a rapid death with the 1898 population of 40,000 shrinking to about 8,000 in 1899. Ultimately the plays always mature, the hype ends once people get tired of hearing the name, the hype moves somewhere else and it just becomes another region to explore. When that happens remaining companies better have the goods as far as properties and results as there is no longer any added benefit to simply having an address in that particular area.
Lets follow your line of thinking and just assume the play hasn't even begun. If that is the case wouldn't people want to get into one of the stocks which has significant projects and has a beaten down share price. Or perhaps get into a company with prospects that haven't been gone over very much. In my opinion, the amount of time and resources Klondike Gold and its predecessor or associated companies have spent on their Klondike properties and what they have come up with just doesn't make it a high priority investment idea in my opinion. Not sure how others see the company, but I can come up with at least 20 yukon based explorers with what I consider better prospects. Sorry, but that is how I see it.
