Interesting so called letter from Brookfield.  I guess it would be of value to know when SCS was profitable, as the letter states...return to profitability.  Not sure who those senior managers are either, typically when you have a good management team like SCS, they run on their own.  This would appear to be a red flag for me, but maybe it is normal.  Finally, could you include who from Brookfield wrote this, that would help to better evaluate it.  Just very interesting that they would respond in this way .
