And the Headline Read BlackBerry software ruled not safe enough for essential government work
"But the Guardian understands that tests on BB10 and the BlackBerry Balance software, intended to separate work and personal accounts and prevent any copying of data between them, have shown that it fails the same security requirements."
What really happened? Failed...or passed in all but one area?
The new o/s was sent for thorough testing in the UK. The idea of a test is to reveal glitches before they become a problem in real life. (we've all worked with IT departments before haven't we? Users must....test ...test ...test so IT can help solve any issues).
Now that Blackberry is aware of a hidden issue, I would think they can solve it!! After all they wrote the system code from the ground up.
They are being responsible by not setting a fix date....they need to source the problem first and then decide what , how, when, where and how long it will take to correct.
After all, they just found out about it.
