RE: RE: In The Wake of St Paddy

If this is all true we basically have a tired Chair of the Board who'd rather have his legacy end with what will be touted as a big premium over the market value without people doing the math to figure out the ridiculous valuation rather than resigning.  Then there is this weasel that used the influence of a group of concerned shareholders to enrich himself off the backs of those that essentially brought him to power. Class acts all around IMO.  Wish you bigger shareholders luck but I have no faith in the TSX nor the Courts.  I don't think they have ever bothered to try to do any kind of valuation on the companies.  This deal will likely go through and if there is recourse, it will have to be outside of this process where a painstaking case will have to be put together to paint a picture that due dilligence and fiduciary duty has not been properly performed by the management group. Unfortunately the system is about technicalities and not about fairness.  If TSX or the Courts were there to really protect investors, some stock exchanges wouldn't exist.  It would be refreshing to see shareholders win something for a change.
