RE: RE: RE: Feast on the Fear

Thanks ArmyCore for one of the more sensible analysis of the RPL situation that appears on this BB.

When the funds try to exit at any price that has the avalanche effect of triggering all the stop losses and the problem just multiples and the downward spiral escalates.  I'm currently down 30% on RPL but I do believe the company is viable and when the panic ceases (usually three days later - as per the old bad news experience) I expect to see sanity returns, even though SP may still be depressed but should be higher than now.  Whether you should hold or sell (into the panic), or even add more at this stage, that's up to your own risk tolerance.

I can tell you that I also own TBE.  No that long ago there was a similar panic when they reported the oil production in one of their locations was losing volumes.  SP expectedly took a major hit, but then when the panic subsided and they put out an outstanding Q4 and YE report yesterday, SP rebounded.  Personally I'll give RPL at least one more quarter before I take any action.
