Patience Will Be Rewarded If you check the most recent news releases regarding the level of gold in these first few test holes, it easier to understand that DP and his team ARE builing a WORLD CLASS GOLD DEPOSIT. It just takes time. If you also read the releases it outlines how tedious and precisely the cores have to be handled, split, catelogged and assayed. This is a requirement to obtain NI 43-101. Which is the universally accepted and publically reported determination of the resourse.
National Instrument 43-101 (the "NI 43-101" or the "NI") is a standard used for the public disclosure of information relating to mineral properties in Canada. The NI is a strict guideline for how public companies can disclose scientific and technical information about mineral projects on bourses supervised by the Canadian Securities Administrators.
WORLD CLASS GOLD DEPOSITS
With several hundred gold mines producing worldwide, almost every country is home to at least a few. The world’s largest gold mine is the Grasberg Mine in the province of Papua, Indonesia, operated by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold [NYSE:FCX]. Open pit operations began in 1990 and today the deposit holds a remaining 38.5 million ounces of proven and probable gold reserves.
There are various factors to consider in determining the value of a gold deposit and world class deposit status, including estimated gold resource, the grade of the gold, the ease at which the gold can be mined and the cost of refining the gold.
Average Grade
Ore grade refers to the proportion of gold contained in the ore of a particular mine and is represented in grams per tonne (g/t). According to the World Gold Council (WGC), larger and better quality underground mines contain around 8 to 10g/t, with marginal underground mines have averages of around 4 to 6g/t. Open pit mines usually have lower grades from 1g/t to 4g/t, but can be highly valuable despite the lower average grade. A more useful measurement, says the WGC, is cost per ounce, which uses a combination of grade and operating costs (USD/tonne).
Below shows Giyani's most recent "NEW" discovery of gold in just these first few holes. There are still two cores results from just this most recent drilling campaign that based on timing of first should be arriving any day now. I suspect they will be even better than the first. To say nothing of the DEEP hole they continue with. DYOD but Believe 100% this will eventually be a $10 stock. No pumping, just science and faith in the same sentence. ( Fans of LOST can relate). As quickly as this stock moves, anyone selling at these levels will be overpaying to get back in IMHO.
