Wind Works Power Corp. Announces Sale of 2 Wind Turbines in Wind Park Burg II Project in Germany

March 26, 2013

OTTAWA, ONTARIO March 26, 2013 - Wind Works Power Corp. (OTC:WWPW - News)(WKN:A0RPM2) is pleased to announce it has sold 2 wind turbines in Wind Park Burg II, a 6.9 megawatt project located in Germany.

The turbines were sold to Stadtwerke Augsburg, a municipal utility near Munich, Germany. The total investment once the wind park is fully built is approximately $11.5 Million. It is expected that construction on the wind farm will commence in April 2013, with an in-service date in Q4 2013.

Given the German governments' Energiewende decision in 2011 (i.e. to phase out nuclear plants until 2020 and fossil power plants until 2050, and switch to renewable energies), many towns are looking at buying into green, zero emission energy. Onshore wind energy is currently amongst the least expensive forms of new renewable energy in Germany.

The municipal utility intends to run their commuter trains on 100% zero emission energy by 2017, and this project will provide 50% of the required energy for it. In addition, the municipal utility offered its ratepayers the opportunity to participate in renewable energies, and raised funds for this purpose through a local debenture.

"A growing trend in Germany is for municipal utilities to invest in renewable energy projects and supply their costumers with 100% green, zero emission energy", comments Dr. Ingo Stuckmann, Wind Works' President and CEO. "This trend brings additional buyers to the market which is good for a developer like Wind Works having a project ready for construction."

About Wind Works / Zero Emission People

Wind Works now operates 4.6 megawatts in Germany, in which it has a 49% ownership stake. In addition, Wind Works is developing 27 megawatts of near-term permitted projects in Germany; 90 megawatts of FIT contracted projects in Ontario; and 425 megawatts of projects in the United States.

Our mission is to provide the opportunity for people to participate in the development of renewable wind energy projects. We believe in making sound, environmentally conscious investments that are good for our shareholders and our planet. To eliminate one person`s carbon footprint of 10 tons each year (for Germany), it only takes a modern windmill 1 day by producing approx. 20,000 kilowatt hours of zero emission energy.
