AQN
AQN It would be interesting to know more about AQN history. Maybe there are similarities with ATP.
AQN paid a 0.92 dividend in 2007, 0.75 in 2008 and 0.24 in 2009, so I guess it was cut from 0.23 to 0.06 beginning with the last quarterly dividend of 2008, a 74% cut. Where there lawsuits?
I read somewhere on this blog that AQN eventually fell below 2$, maybe 1.83, so the yield eventually went up to 12 or 13%. How was AQN perceived then, compared to ATP today? With such a yield, the market obviously gave a very high probability to more cuts. I wonder what would be the equivalent of a 13% yield in today's market?
