RE: RE: Same

RE: RE: Same

Perhaps it goes a little further in the strategy as well - now the extension cord to China can be booted out of the wall any time the DONKS misbehave.  No power no product.  They will eventually build a power plant at TT, but we've seen how fast those plans have progressed.  For the time being OT production is tied to reciprocity with China, and we all know China looms large in RioT's world.

For ETG and JV watchers, this is interesting - they are pressing on with the 5th shaft, the two paired production hoists that can lift 25 million tonnes/annum at Hugo North are now around 2/3 done with one complete and the second about half-sunk.  At 100,000 tonnes/day the concentrator can put through a max of 36 million tonnes, less downtime, maintenance, under-production ...  and the higher production costs per pound ... all arrows pointing towards the highest grades being a priority?

No way this technical report was sprung on the Mongolians, is there?  Meaning the negotiations are busily ongoing behind the scenes notwithstanding propaganda meetings being delayed.

The plot continues to thicken.

And IMHO both TRQ and ETG have huge upsides provided Angela Merkel or Vlad the Impaler don't push all of us over a cliff - or the kooks in North Korea get trigger happy, or some other hideous turn of events occurs like a crazed desire of DONKS to fall off their yaks and onto their swords.
