RE: RE: gold chart , J.S.

RE: RE: gold chart , J.S.

I have owned ths company off and on.  I'm in it now.  The Inmet deal deal convinced me to get back in.  I know that there are others on this board who were disappointed in the deal, but $150 million dollars over a three year period for basically doing nothing is pretty good for a company with a market value of $100 million.

It's obvious that this is a company with good assets and poor management.  It spent $2.2 million in consulting fees to say no to Inmet when a 10 year old could have figured that it was a bad debt.  I've always gotten the feeing that the mgmt. of the company likes to do exotic/unusual deals when all they have to be is a solid gold mining company.

Has anyone ever taken a run at replacing the current management?

Thanks, Paul
