thanks tris.... this is what they posted while pushing for the merger...in fact if you beleive that those were the only alternatives or plan it would not have left much to go on for a decision... but just as they did with pce by releasing their year end those were tatics to ensure the proper vote... I worked in a simular type of position for a corportation before my retirement and we did the very same thing when we wanted to push for a resolution.

i.e.  hide the true numbers until the last possible moments but stay withing the law without lying but only give the shaky alternatives... if it did not go through you win anyway by coming out with something very positive and say something like wow we just found another alternatives that maybe suitable  and you save the day... the release of the annual result filed under sedar (where you are liable if you mislead) would have been interesting to see...   in any case the deal is done and hopefully it will mature to something great
